Physicians for Peace Gala
The 8th Annual Physicians for Peace Gala was held at Norfolk's Downtown Marriott. The Charles E. Horton Global Humanitarian Award was presented to the Major League Baseball Players Association. In past years, recipients have included President Bill Clinton and Sanjay Gupta, M.D. The sold out affair brought together philanthropists from all walks of life to celebrate the selfless work of this international organization headquartered in Norfolk.
